The back of my more than 10 year old Canadiens winter jacket. The greatest hockey franchise in history, and probably the biggest in sports after the Yankees, are celebrating thier centennial season this year. Unfortunately the celebration has been overshadowed by drug scandals, trade rumours surrounding Alex Kovalev and a less than sub par performance since the the All Star Game (which also was held in Montreal). A team that on beforehand was one of the contenders to the Stanley Cup is now struggling hard and desperately needs to bounce back on track to even make the playoffs. We Hab fans are far from as happy as the logo implies.
