The backside of the north part of the strip, at the last stop on the Monorail at Sahara Hotel, which was closed down in May 2011. These parts of Vegas are not as flocked with tourists as the rest of the Strip. Parking garages are completely empty and residential buildings like this one on the photo seems to be completely vacant - and there are few of them in the area. I don't know if that is the case though, but during night only a single few apartments are lit up in each building, which makes you wonder if everybody is at the strip working, or if they actually are vacant. There are also a lot of homeless people strolling around in this area, just a couple of hundred yards from the five star dishes, Dom Perignons and high stake tables. Depressing to say the least.

Spotted at CES in Las Vegas about two weeks ago. One of my absolute favorite shots from that trip. I'm not really comfortable doing candid shots but as I was walking between the booths at CES and I saw this woman and how she was framed in between doors and passages I just couldn't resist.
